I found myself irate at someone recently because they said how amazing technology was today. “We’ve come SO FAR! We’re doing things I never dreamed of when I was young.”
Really? When I was young I thought by 2000 we would be driving flying cars, have beaming technology, living more integrated with nature, cancer would be cured along with the cold, talking to and talked at by computers, keyboards and mice would be obsolete, and… well, I think of your new child and what their dreams will be and what will life be like for them in 2100. Yep. Your child could live to see that century.
