The pain in my right wrist did motivate the purchase. Working the pen is not without its strains but it works with different muscles so I don’t feel the pain that comes when I use the mouse.
The Bamboo is a good choice but it lacks one important feature that I think the Intuos provides: the ability to switch screens. With multiple monitors, Bamboo users must either choose a monitor, or squish all screens onto the tablet, or select an area of the desktop to map to the tablet surface.

Yup! I'm known as "skeltoac" in many places. If you need to email me, use that three-syllable word followed by the "at" symbol and this domain: gmail.com.

How are the wrists? Was getting a pen tablet motivated by your medical condition?
